Continued from Romania Part 1....
The architecture is bizarre with huge ornate houses with tiered pagoda style roofs next to shacks in the little villages.
After a long day, we finally we made it to Reghin where we stayed in a “pensione” (guest house), La Casa Blanca. We had dinner at a local restaurant. Obviously, not many tourists around here….but we had fun anyway with the Romanian only menu and Romanian only waitress. We laughed at ourselves and she laughed with us as we tried to translated gibberish into gibberish that finally got us two beers, chicken and fries, and fish and chips…..the beers were a whole lot easier to order though. Of course…
When we pulled into the La Casa Blanc, we noticed a strange drip from the bus and we suspect that when it was jacked up for the tire changing it may have ruptured a line, maybe a brake line……think we will get it checked out in the morning……
